Acampados na praça Dom Pedro II, em Manaus (AM), 22 índios de oito etnias cercaram o presidente Lula na tarde desta quarta-feira (16/6), quando ele caminhava com o presidente do Peru, Alan Garcia, para pedir moradias para seus povos. No contato, a índia Geisa Kelly, da etnia Kokama, e Oympa Makpaka, guerreiro da etnia Apurinã, contaram que deixaram suas aldeias no Alto do Solimões e vieram para a capital do Amazonas.
“Ficamos muito felizes. Ele é um presidente iluminado. Temos certeza que nosso pedido será atendido”, disse Kelly que entregou três colares a Lula. Após a conversa, o grupo conversou com o Blog do Planalto, oportunidade em que narraram a situação no acampamento improvisado. O governador do Amazonas, Omar Aziz, informou que o pedido dos indígenas pode ser atendido.
In the grand scheme of things you get an A+ for effort. Where you lost me was in the details. As they say, details make or break the argument.. And it could not be more true here. Having said that, let me tell you what did work. Your writing is very persuasive and that is probably why I am taking the effort to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, while I can see the jumps in logic you make, I am not sure of how you seem to connect the points which make the conclusion. For now I shall subscribe to your point but hope in the future you connect the dots better.
