Governo debate plano da banda larga com representantes da sociedade

Uma série de reuniões entre representantes da sociedade e do governo federal estão sendo realizadas nesta sexta-feira (7/5) em Brasília para discutir o Plano Nacional de Banda Larga, lançado quarta-feira (5/5). Participam desses encontros a ministra Erenice Guerra (Casa Civil), Cezar Alvarez (coordenador dos Programas de Inclusão Digital do governo federal) e Rogério Santana (secretário de Logística e Tecnologia da Informação do Ministério do Planejamento), bem como empresas operadoras de telefonia, de equipamentos de telecomunicações com tecnologia nacional, especialistas em tecnologia da informação e comunicação, prestadores de serviços de telecomunicações e representantes de usuários.
Nos encontros desta sexta-feira também serão discutidos a composição e os nomes dos indicados para o Fórum Brasil Digital, que o governo criará, no âmbito do PNBL, como instância permanente de discussão de questões relacionadas à internet rápida no país.
Todos os setores já foram ouvidos ao longo da elaboração do Plano Nacional de Banda Larga. No dia 2 de fevereiro houve reunião do presidente Lula com especialistas em tecnologia da informação e comunicação e representantes de usuários. No dia 5 de fevereiro, foram feitas reuniões na Casa Civil com empresas operadoras de telefonia e prestadores de serviços de telecomunicações. E, no dia 9 de fevereiro, Alvarez encontrou-se com representantes de lan houses.
