Festa multicolorida toma conta da Esplanada dos Ministérios

A Esplanada dos Ministérios se transformou nesta terça-feira (7/9) numa grande passarela cívica em que 3.500 civis e militares desfilaram em comemoração ao Dia da Independência. Representantes de grupos culturais, estudantes, militares das missões brasileiras de paz no exterior, veteranos de guerra, paraquedistas, fuzileiros navais e policiais militares, entre muitos outros, fizeram a festa do público que lotou a Esplanada dos Ministérios. No total, o desfile deste ano contou com 107 viaturas, 50 motocicletas e 250 cavalos, além de dezenas de aeronaves (aviões e helicópteros), como as 28 da Esquadrilha da Fumaça.
Cerca de 35 mil pessoas acompanharam hoje as três horas de desfile, com a festa começando pouco antes das 9 horas, com o presidente Lula e a primeira-dama Marisa Letícia chegando à Esplanada no Rolls-Royce presidencial. O presidente autorizou o início do desfile e a Esquadrilha da Fumaça logo atraiu os olhares das pessoas para o céu, onde deixou registrada as cores da bandeira brasileira em desenhos feitos com fumaça.
Além do presidente Lula e a primeira-dama Marisa Letícia, participaram da festa os ministros Nelson Jobim (Defesa), Luiz Paulo Barreto (Justiça) e Celso Amorim (Relações Exteriores), além do presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Cesar Peluso, e o presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Michel Temer.
