Brasil bate recorde na geração de empregos

O ministro do Trabalho e Emprego, Carlos Lupi, deu mais uma excelente notícia para os brasileiros: em fevereiro foram registradas 209.425 novas contratações com carteira assinada no País. De acordo com o Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged), do Ministério do Trabalho, foi o melhor resultado num mês de fevereiro. O recorde anterior aconteceu em fevereiro de 2008, com a abertura de 204.963 postos de trabalho. “Tenho certeza que o mês atual também será o melhor março da história do Caged”, afirmou Lupi.
Conforme dados divulgados pelo MTE, nos últimos 12 meses, a variação acumulada do emprego formal atingiu alta de 4,63%, com criação de 1.478.523 postos de trabalho, o maior aumento desde dezembro de 2008, nesse tipo de comparação. Deste modo, o Brasil alcança a marca de 33.391.863 trabalhadores com carteira assinada.
“O setor de serviços está respondendo à demanda de turismo, a indústria cresce porque precisa repor os estoques, que estão baixos, e a construção civil está sendo alavancada pelas obras do Plano de Aceleração do Crescimento [PAC]. Nenhum empresário contrata se não estiver lucrando e se não estiver com boas perspectivas de crescimento econômico. Então, este aumento no número de contratações significa que nossa economia vai muito bem, e melhora a cada dia”, destacou Lupi.
Para o Nordeste, o mês é de estreia: “esta foi a primeira vez que o Nordeste apresentou resultado positivo para o mês de fevereiro, com destaque para a Bahia e o Ceará, que garantiram o resultado, mesmo com a agricultura tendo apresentado índice negativo”, explicou o ministro. E as boas notícias vem de outros recantos do Brasil, com três delas apresentando saldos recordes: Sul (49.539), Norte (11.120) e o Nordeste, apontado pelo ministro, com 2.146 novos empregos.
O estado de São Paulo liderara a geração de empregos no país com 80.662 carteiras assinadas, seguido de Minas Gerais (27.503), Rio Grande do Sul (19.718) e Santa Catarina (16.111). A região Sudeste liderou com o acréscimo de 120.562 postos de trabalho no mês, terceiro maior saldo para o período, e a região Centro-Oeste revelou o segundo melhor saldo para o mês de fevereiro, com o incremento de 26.058 empregos.
